Steve and Nadra Galazin, the Directors of SHP, have been planning and leading teenage bicycling and hosteling trips for the past 17 years. They are the parents of 4 children ranging in age from 11 to 21, and both are high school teachers.

They have traveled extensively in Europe, Canada, and the United States and are involved in every aspect of the SHP program, including the most important aspect, the interviewing and training of SHP leaders.

Their main goal is to provide the opportunity for teenages to learn about the world, about the beauty of life, and about themselves, through experiences of their own making.
