MVC begins with an exciting day of refting on the Deerfield River near SHP Headquarters. We'll take the group to Newport, Rhode Island for a day of spectacular cycling along the shoreline. Step back in time as you tour a famous, fabulous mansion from America's Gilded Age and explore the picturesque harbor at Newport.

Then on to the Cape, with all the best activities, fun, and more. On the Cape, SHP trippers experience everything that has attracted vacationers for decades - cycling the bike trails past cranberry bogs, through sun-drenched seaside villages, with a rest stop for blueberry ice cream, lemonade or gooey saltwater taffy.

Explore coves and look for marine birds on an afternoon sea kayaking trip. Add horseback riding in Brewster, a deep sea fishing trip, a cookout or kite-flying on a beach, a climb up into a lighthouse, and taking some time to explore those intriguing, funky shops. Maybe catch a movie at Wellfleet's drive-in theater!

On the whale-watch from Provincetown, it takes only about 20 minutes to get out to where the whales are found. Before you know it, your group is off to Boston for a final two days of sightseeing – history, culture, street performers, and great food.

Trip Begins
SHP van transportation to our headquarters in Conway, MA is available from pickup points in Boston, Rye NY, Morristown NJ, Langhorne PA, and Hartford, CT. You can also drive to Conway.

Trip Ends
Logan Airport, Boston, MA. SHP van transportation is available to Framingham MA, Rye NY, Hartford CT, Morristown NJ, and Conway, MA.

Cycling
Easy and moderate.

Bike Type
Mountain, hybrid, or road touring bike. A rental bike is available for $170.

Overnights
Camping, with student dorm in Paris.

Facilities
Hot showers and flush toilets at all places.

Air Travel
