Dingle Peninsula, Killarney, Cork, and Dublin
Southern Ireland is a uniquely beautiful place imbued with an otherworldly magic. After two weeks here, it is easy to believe in leprechauns! Your trips begins with biking through some of the greenest, prettiest scenery in the world. You'll bike along country lanes, through valleys of every imaginable shade of green, dotted with white thatched-roof cottages, chubby white sheep, and the friendly Connemara ponies. On the road, your group will pass horse drawn milk carts and colorfully decorated horse drawn tinkers' wagons. You'll ask directions of the friendly Irish people speaking in their delightfully soft Gaelic brogue. You'll bike along the shoreline, world famous for its breathtakingly beautiful scenery, and take a day trip to Killarney and its lovely lake set in a majestic mountain valley.
Along the southern coast, you'll cycle through quaint fishing villages, picnic on seaside cliffs, stay in a hostel on an island, listen to magical harp music, and explore mysterious, ancient Celtic ruins. In Cork, your group will visit Blarney Castle (kiss the Blarney stone and you'll be endowed with the gift of gab). After sightseeing in Dublin, your group will return to Cork for the ferry to England.
Bath, Shakespeare, and Oxford
Your group will join the English people on local buses and trains as you explore the country. You'll visit the incredible Roman baths in (where else?) Bath before heading to Stratford and a performance a the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Then its on to Oxford to visit the majestic medieval university.
Windsor and London
After touring impressive Windsor Castle, your group will head for London for 3 days of sightseeing. You'll visit the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey, ride a double decker bus, see the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, and tour the major sights and museums of the city.
